Japan is Iran first rival in Taekwondo Olympic Teams Competitions

The managers meeting and drawing session for Taekwondo Olympic teams competitions in Tokyo Olympic games held and all the teams recognized their rivals.

The world taekwondo federations proposal to International Olympic committee regarding to hold the first taekwondo mutual team competitions was accepted and the competitions hold as a trial in Tokyo Olympic games. Iran and china received their ticket to joint these competitions through world cup and martial arts competitions and three other teams are Russia, Japan and Ivory Coast.

 The chairman of IOC, Thomas Bach, the president of WT, Chung won Cho and Muhammad Shaban, the manager of competitions held the online drawings.  China, Ivory Coast and Russia are in the first group  who will compete with each other and the winner of china and Ivory coast competitions is the rival for china.

 

Iran and Japan will compete in the second group and the winner goes to final.

Iran team includes of Amirmohammad Bakhshi, erfan Nazemi, Kimiya Hemmati and Melika Mirhosseini, the head coach of the team is seyyed Nemat Khalifeh and the Arash Farhadian the chairman of National teams organization lead the Iran Taekwondo team.

The Taekwondo team competitions hold in Makuhari Messe Hall on July 24-27.
